I have chosen to play these songs in this order because I believe the difficulty scales .
1.1g/1.3a HINTS/TIPS/SENTENCE STARTERS: Remember to say why each song is suitable, it might be because is shows off your skills, is widely known, is a catchy song to get their interest. Why should your last song be your best one?

1.3d HINTS/TIPS/SENTENCE STARTERS: think about how many of the 20 hours you will spend rehearsing, recording, preparing for the dress rehearsal, playing for the actual performance, and evaluating your performance on your blog.

Week 27 Evaluation Time (2 hours)
See evaluation below.
Task 2: My Performance
(Mr Flowers will upload a recording of your final performance here).
Task 3: Evaluation of my performance
Strengths Reflection:
1. What went well during the performance? Think about the performance as a whole (the whole group performance): i didn't mess up in the performance that much or that badly, I had my full attention, and I also made sure the setup didn't mess with my performance.
2. What did YOU do well during the performance? Write about the strengths of your individual contribution: I chose a wide selection of songs, I didn't have any health and safety issues
Improvement Reflection:
3. What could have been done better if you were to perform again? Both as a whole group and your individual contribution: Finish the whole thing, make less mistakes.
4. Now write what you need to improve and write a strategy of what you will do to make those improvements:
Improvement #1: To make less mistakes in my performance .
Strategy: How could you make that improvement?: Concentrate more .
Improvement #2: Finish the whole thing .
Strategy: How could you make that improvement?: Make my fills more secure.
Improvement #3: Make more eye contact with the audience .
Strategy: How could you make that improvement?: Be less dependant on my drum score .
Feedback from others:
5. What was the feedback your received from your teacher, other group members and members of the audience?
- Great choice of songs in your programme - got the audience on their feed really enjoying the songs.
- Well played and in time. Audience members really impressed to hear you drumming at that level.
- Well rehearsed opening 3 songs - all solid and you had learnt when the different songs sections change.
- Try to make longer eye contact with the audience.
- Practice Back in Black so that your drum fills are more secure.
6. How did this feedback help with your evaluation of the performance? e.g. what did they notice and comment on that you didn’t realise/know/think about? I didn't realise the 'potential' I had. It's not until I watched myself back and received feedback form the audience that I realised that I was using a large amount of the kit, especially the symbols, I think this made my performance look energetic and engaging.
Conclusion:
7. Write a brief summary/conclusion of your performance: In conclusion, I think I played well enough to be able to make a pass, however if I were to be aiming for a distinction i would've need to practice harder and make everything more relaxed and completed.
